Three years ago an idea was being developed to make a fan film of GONE by Michael Grant. Auditions were being advertised, people being cast, and a project started to form. At this point no one really knew or understood what this would involve. With little experience and a lot of passion we tried to put together a film that would represent the book we loved so much.
Many years later, and many tries and trust me, we have been secretly trying to keep this going for a long long time. We've discovered that the project was always going to be impossible. This isn't us saying goodbye because it will always be a huge part of who we are and how we actually grew as people. We will always try to get something out there, no matter how we do it. We've loved the interaction with fans, I think for me personally that was my favourite part of the whole thing. We are a huge family. We are (mostly) supportive and just want to talk about what we really love.
So where are we now? Well I can certainly talk for myself (Ruby/Astrid) as selfish as that may be. I've started a film company. It all started with the idea of making films such as GONE but with collaborations with other creatures. I'm currently on my gap year going to uni next year, although I am with an acting agency and it will continue to be a passion of mine I have no immediate plan to study it in the near future.

"At the moment I am studying Performing arts in college. Acting will forever be a passion of mine, and hopefully a career for the future. I'm incredibly happy working the job of my dreams! I'm hoping to go to drama school in the next year and study musical theatre. I'm working hard on a few projects and hope to contribute to Ruby's film company soon."
